The recruitment of consensus five-star student-athlete Jaden McDaniels has finally come to a close.
The 6-11 forward committed to Washington over Kentucky, he announced.
He joins a stacked recruiting class that features five-star Isaiah Stewart, four-star RaeQuan Battle, three-star Marcus Tsohonis and Kentucky transfer Quade Green.
Unlike Terrence Jones, a 2010 power forward from Washington, who spurned the Huskies, McDaniels decides to stay and play for Mike Hopkins.
He will have a lot more freedom at Washington with a roster that is built to slide in a player of his caliber. He makes Washington an automatic tournament team if the Huskies develop a McDaniels/Stewart, one-two punch.
