Two coming hard for Cooley

10495838_c3327417ffb247eebb9f3c30a4818a63Brown, one of the most prestigious academic programs in the country, recently reached out to a 2021 Massachusetts guard to offer him a scholarship.

“I was in complete awe,” Aaron Cooley of BABC (MA) said. “The moment was something I’d never forget. Pure happiness.”

He is also slated to visit Brown in August, although, he hasn’t set a date for that just yet.

On his visits to prospective college programs he will be looking for a college that can help him on the court and off.

“[A college] that will set me up for success after college,” he said. “[With] education, new opportunities and basketball.”

In addition to Brown, Holy Cross, Boston, George Mason, Temple, UNC-Greensboro, South Florida, Cal Poly, Stony Brook, Boston College, VCU, Princeton and Fairfield are recruiting the Beaver Country Day (MA) junior.

Before the summer, it was just Boston that was recruiting Cooley. Now Brown and Fairfield are coming after him the hardest and regional high majors are starting to show some interest.
