There have been a lot of schools that have picked up their phone to call Ja’von Benson and offer him a scholarship this summer.
Ohio, James Madison, Mercer, Indiana State, UNC-Wilmington and Morehead State all offered in July. College of Charleston, Winthrop, East Tennessee State, North Carolina A&T, Murray State, Georgia Southern and more have also placed out offers to the 2020 power forward.
So many new schools are showing interest, including USC, so he’s just enjoying the process.
“I can’t really answer cause I don’t know to be honest,” he said of narrowing his list.
“I’m wide open [and] don’t have any favorites.”
Coaches like a lot about his game but the few things he highlighted were, “[I’m] versatile, can stretch and long.”
At this point, he only has one visit planned and it’s to the College of Charleston. He doesn’t have a date planned for it just yet but it could be coming very soon.
