Iowa State, Kansas State, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky, St. John’s, Arkansas State, South Florida, Texas A&M and more are currently recruiting 2020 6-5 wing Selton Miguel.

Kansas State and Western Kentucky were the most recent offers for the talented wing, and he has official visits scheduled to both.

He starts his official visit to Western Kentucky today and K-State will have him on campus September 7th.

“[I want to see] the campus and their practice facility,” he said of his Western Kentucky official. “See how they train daily and how they play.”

As for his interest in Kansas State, he said, “it would be a great fit if I’m trying to become a pro.”

Right now, Western Kentucky and Kansas State are the only visits he has scheduled but he’s planning on taking more in September and then narrowing down shortly after in November.

With so many high major showing interest and getting involved, expect a fun recruitment. A lot of coaches like his toughness and tenacity, and have voiced that to him on occasion.

“[They like] my defense. I pick up 94 feet the whole game,” he said. “The way I create my own shots and I take smart shots.”
