2020 center Dylan Cardwell is at the halfway mark of his recruitment and he’s, “just trying to find the right school.”
UConn, Vanderbilt, Miami and Tennessee are some of the schools coming at him currently. UConn dispatched assistant Kenya Hunter to see him at the Peach Jam and Cardwell has taken notice of their recruiting efforts.
“UConn loves my versatility and athleticism,” Cardwell said. “They have a lot to say about me being a great teammate as well. They plan on developing me and training me to be an NBA player.”
UConn offered in early June and have been all over him since then. He admitted that they’ve made him a top priority, but they’re not the only ones.
He has scheduled visits to Georgia and Vanderbilt, both schools, who he said, are recruiting him very hard.
He’s scheduled to take an official visit to Vanderbilt starting August 31st and then Georgia September 7th.
Cardwell is a super athletic big that has a lot of potential. Throughout the summer, Cardwell struck me as guy that works hard for rebounds, always on the offensive glass and has a knack for scoring around the rim.
