Montgomery, Alabama native Rongie Gordon has started to make recruiting decisions.
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Florida, UAB, Troy, Ole Miss and Clemson are currently recruiting him right now, but Texas A&M has been coming the hardest.
The 2020 power forward has taken a lot of unofficials this past spring, and is now focused on official visits.
Florida will host 6-8 forward on October 5th for an official visit and Ole Miss will host Gordon for an official visit October 18th.
He will be expecting to see a lot during his short stay on campus.
“How the environment is, how they run their offense, where I fit on their team and who needs me and wants me the most,” he said. “The culture they have, how me and the interact and get along, and the students.”
But don’t expect him to make a quick decision during the early period. He’s going to take his time with his recruitment but, “if I know what I want and I am confident, I will sign early,” he said.
