Dalton Banks could make fall decision

2020 point guard Dalton Banks could decide soon.

Eau Claire North (WI) student-athlete has started to see his recruitment pick up in the past couple of weeks with a lot of schools offering him a scholarship.

North Dakota State, South Dakota, Milwaukee-Wisconsin, Ball State, Wright State, Southern Illinois and Cal Poly are currently recruiting him, and the 6-2 lead guard has started to shift his focus away from visits. He’s already visited a lot of programs on his list and is just looking towards building relationships at this point.

“I’ve been to all those schools pretty much,” he said. “I just want to get a better feel of them.”

While he’s getting a better feel for the programs, he will start doing his homework so he can hopefully decide in the fall. He isn’t in any rush to make a decision, so the fit and comfort level have to be right.

“I would like to make a decision in the fall before the high school season starts,” he said. “But, if I don’t feel comfortable, it could go as late as the spring.”
