According to a tweet by Tipton Edits, 2020 five-star N’Faly Dante has committed to Oregon.
In a letter to his mother on the Players Tribune, he details his decision.
“Throughout this process it’s been important to me to choose a place that I know you’d be proud of. A place where I will get a strong education and that has a family atmosphere, ” he writes in the Players Tribune. “I’ve put a lot of thought into it, and I’m excited to tell you that next year I’m going to be attending college and playing basketball at the University of Oregon.”
Dante joins Oregon’s 2019 recruiting class that features forwards CJ Walker and Chandler Lawson, along with center Isaac Johnson and guard Chris Duarte.
He chose Oregon over Kentucky.
“Oregon has a program that reflects a lot of the values you taught me when I was growing up,” he writes.
