Ocoee (FL) forward Alston Andrews is taking his time with his recruitment.
VCU, Rhode Island, Stetson, NJIT, and St. Bonaventure have offered so far with UNC-Charlotte showing interest as of late.
NJIT was one of the latest programs to enter his recruitment and he believes they offered for many reasons.
“They mostly like how well I can control the game from the offensive and defensive,” he said. “And using my length to my advantage.”
At The Moment:
Andrews plans on taking official visits to both VCU and Rhode Island in the very near future, but hasn’t set the dates up just yet.
He’s hoping to see, “mostly how I will fit in their style of play and how they treat and connect with their players,” he said.
He’s still far from a decision and is, “still open to recruiting until probably early in the season,” he said.
