One of the best shooters in Kentucky is set to make a decision soon.
Samford, Kent State, Georgetown (NAIA), Kentucky State and USI are recruiting the 2020 Martha Layne Collins (KY) shooting guard Marcellus Vail.
When it comes down to finally making the call, it will come down to two things that are the most important to Vail.
“All about family and the right fit,” he said. “If I feel it’s where I belong, I will go there.”
Right now, he only has one visit scheduled. He’s scheduled to take an official visit to Samford September 5-7.
“[I want to] just check out the campus and get to know the coaches and players,” he explained. “And understand more on how they play.”
Samford offered the dynamic shooting guard in late June and has recruited him hard every since.
