2022 wing Jaylen Martin has the chance to be a big time player out of Florida.

Martin, only a sophomore, stands at 6-5 with a game that has high major programs checking him out early.

South Florida became the first high major program to offer him a scholarship, while programs like North Carolina State, Auburn and Florida State are showing interest.

“I wasn’t very surprised by my latest offer from South Florida because I did very well at their elite camp this year and the year before,” he said. “But, it is still a blessing to receive the offer.”

South Florida is the third program to offer Martin along with Arkansas-Little Rock and Stetson.

His game speaks for itself and he’s had coaches interested for many reasons.

“Coaches have told me that they love my slashing ability and how I can get to my spots and pull up off the dribble,” he said. “I’ve also been told that I was a good playmaker, and that I can create for myself and others.”

Florida State will likely get a visit from the rising sophomore and Ole Miss will also get a visit from Martin. He hasn’t figured out the date just yet for his Florida State visit, but has scheduled an unofficial to Ole Miss for November 16th when they take on LSU.
