Canadian Rueadale Williams has a very long list of suitors interested ranging from high to mid major.
New Mexico, Wisconsin, Baylor, Washington State, North Texas, Drake, UC Santa Barbara, Towson, Iona and a lot more have reached out to show interest in the 6-3, 180-pound guard that plays his basketball at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
“[Coaches like] that I’m a two way point guard, get my teammates involved and make them better,” he said. “But they all see potential in me to be a big time scorer.”
New Mexico State, Florida Gulf Coast, Eastern Kentucky and Akron are coming the hardest and making him a priority, and he’s setting up two visits to the programs contacting him the most.
“As of right now, I plan to visit New Mexico State and Florida Gulf Coast,” he said. “No dates locked in yet.”
Williams has plenty of basketball left to be played in front of college coaches and will certainly take his time with the process. While he’s looking forward to taking visits, he’ll still keep his options open.
“I’m 100 percent open,” he said. “I answer every coach that contacts me.”
