2022 point guard Ramel Lloyd Jr has early offers from TCU, Dayton, Fresno State, DePaul, UNLV and Manhattan.
There are plenty more schools that are keeping tabs on Lloyd Jr and he’s grateful for it all.
“It’s good,” he said of the early offers and interest. “I always want to get more and keep going as a player, but right now it’s pretty cool for me to have them this early.”
TCU, his first power five offer, had high praise for him after watching him this summer and wasting little time offering.
“The TCU coach said that he likes my size at my position,” he said. “He feels like I’m going to be a big time player going into my freshman year of college.”
Along with TCU, San Diego State has been very high on him as a player and welcomed him to campus for an unofficial visit. They like his game, skill level and size at the point.
“San Diego State is definitely a high level program,” he explained. “I know the coaches over there. It was really nice. I like the campus and all the facilities are high level.”
