2022 Blue Valley (KS) guard Aidan Shaw is a hot sophomore prospect for a lot of programs early in his recruitment.

Shaw already has offers from Vanderbilt, USC, Oklahoma State and TCU, while also hearing from Missouri, Kansas, Wake Forest, Nebraska, Illinois and Stanford.

“I think coaches like the fact I can handle and shoot for my size,” Shaw said. “I work hard on both ends of the court. I think I make it known my teammates are important to me so I hype them up.”

He continued by saying, “I stay working on all aspects of my game, all the time, knowing I can get better.”

Missouri got the chance to see him up close and personal recently on his unofficial visit—a trip that he really enjoyed.

“My Missouri visit was great,” he said. “It was homecoming so the atmosphere was crazy! Coaches treated me like family.”

Since the visit to Mizzou, his focused shifted towards getting better and his upcoming season. He has plenty of opportunity in the future to get on college campuses, so right now he’s, “really focused on getting better.”
