2020 wing Oskar Palmquist has only been in the states for a few months but he has already started to attract the attention of high major programs.

Palmquist listed Rutgers, Florida, South Florida, Iowa, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky, Fort Wayne and Southern Illinois as the programs recruiting him currently.

“[Coaches like] that I’m versatile and my passing ability,” Palmquist said. “I’m always looking to make the right play.”

At 6-8 Palmquist can do a lot. He shoots the ball well, has pretty good handle and can play both positions in the frontcourt.

He can do a lot for any program that decides to offer him moving forward but he’s also going to be seeing what that program can do for him long term as well.

“The most important thing for me is to have coaches who I feel believe in me and will put me in the best possible situation for me to succeed,” he explained of what he’ll be looking for in a school.
