2021 shooting guard Jaxson Robinson of Ada (OK) and Team Griffin (OK) finished off his AAU season with a Nike Peach Jam 16U championship.

The long and athletic 6-6 shooting guard showcased plenty throughout the summer that has many college programs clamoring for his services. He has offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Houston, Baylor, Tulsa, TCU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, UT-Arlington and Wake Forest, he told ScoopmanTV.

Texas Tech, Wichita State, Auburn, Ole Miss, Illinois, Louisville, Texas, Middle Tennessee State, Kansas, Kansas State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Utah State, Stanford, Florida State, Purdue, Indiana, UCLA and Colorado have shown interest.

“They like the way I can shoot it,” Robinson said of what coaches like about his game. “And me being able to guard multiple positions on the defensive end.”

Since helping Team Griffin to a Peach Jam championship, Robinson has been on a visit tour checking out TCU, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Arkansas has been one program that has been on him very hard since July. The Hogs have dispatched assistants to his school, and have welcomed him to campus twice in the span of a few months.

This past weekend he took another unofficial visit to Arkansas, a trip that he enjoyed.

“It was alright,” he said. “I just kind of went to bond with the staff and coach [Eric Musselman] Muss.”

Arkansas isn’t the only program he’s heavily considering though. He’s still planning to take a trip back to TCU, then UCLA and Colorado, although the dates for the visits haven’t been set yet.

However, while he’s still very open in his recruitment and doesn’t have any plans to decide, he certainly knows what he’s looking for when he’s going on his visits and that’s a connection and competitive drive.

“Just to have a good coach that I have a good relationship with,” he said of what he’s looking for in a school. “And teammates that want to win just as bad as I do.”
