Southern Door (WI) forward Ryan Claflin is nearing a decision.
Claflin has already taken official visits to Hillsdale College and Northern Michigan, while taking unofficial visits to Wisconsin-Green Bay and Michigan Tech.
After taking visits to all the programs that have offered him, he’s ready to put an end to his recruitment and focus on his upcoming season.
“I want to go somewhere that can give me a great education,” he explained. “Also, I think I’ll fit in with the team well, and the coaches are great. Overall, I want to go to a great program.”
One of the more recent offers for Claflin came from UW-Green Bay, a program that has been following him since early January. The staff finally reached out to offer and he was excited to get his first Division I offer.
“I was pretty excited,” he said of receiving an offer from UW-Green Bay. “The opportunity to play DI very close to home with a good program is something I dreamed of.”
Claflin doesn’t have a decision date in mind but he does know that it’s going to come soon.
