Kansas City native Mike Hood of College of Southern Idaho (ID) announced his commitment to Montana State recently.
He joins shooting guard Tyler Patterson of Mount Si (WA) in their 2020 recruiting class.
“I went on my visit and just loved everything about it,” Hood said. “The campus, the people; It was a good feeling the whole time.”
The 6-2 guard built a strong relationship with the staff fast. He enjoyed the time that was spent on campus with the coaches, he felt everything was genuine and that they could really utilize him in the long.
“I fit really well into their system,” he said. “With the ball screens, using the guards a lot and making plays.”
