One of the more talented wings left on the market is 2020 Moravian Prep (NC) forward Zack Austin. Standing at 6-7, Austin is a versatile wing with the ability to play at least two other positions, and after the Jamborees many coaches are aware of that.
“They like the way I can defend one through five,” Austin said. “And the way I attack the rim.”
North Carolina Central, High Point, Marshall, Tulsa, Radford, Western Carolina, College of Charleston, Appalachian State, Temple, Wichita State & USC-Upstate are currently recruiting Austin.
He’s currently working out a visit with High Point but hasn’t figured out a date yet. He’s, “completely open,” in his recruitment at the moment and will likely take his time before deciding.
Most of the programs are hoping he can come in and play some wing and small ball four, he confessed.
