Archbishop Riordan (CA) 6-3 guard Je’Lani Clark committed to Nevada and signed his National Letter of Intent on the first day of the early signing period.
“Nevada is just one big family and I love the campus,” he said. “All the staff, they really care about you as a student before a athlete.”
He joins a five man class that features Alem Huseinovic, DeAndre Henry, Tre Coleman and Daniel Foster.
“Je’Lani is a high energy, high motor player,” Nevada head coach Steve Alford said in a press release. “He has a very high basketball IQ and is committed to being a great player. He has the ability to lead a team and program.”
Clark, as a junior, averaged 15.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.4 assist and two steals per game for Archbishop Riordan High School. He comes with incredible offensive abilities and should make an impact for the Wolfpack going forward.
“[Nevada is getting] a player that just wants to win at the end of the day,” he explained.
