2020 combo forward Myles Foster committed to Monmouth.
Foster, originally from New York, adds to Monmouth’s recruiting class that features 6-5 wing Jack Holstrom from Illinois and 6-4 shooting guard Mikah Johnson Jr from New Jersey.
“The campus is gorgeous…right by the beach,” Foster explained. “The coaching staff has been one of the schools that have been recruiting me from the beginning and it’s a great place where I can prosper both on the court and in the classroom as a student-athlete.”
Foster gives Monmouth a lot of versatility at the forward position. He’s can play both spots in the frontcourt well and create mismatches on the floor for the next four years.
That’s something he’s looking forward to bringing to Monmouth from day one, but he spoke about another important aspect as well.
“Somebody that’s going to be a leader,” he said of what he intends on bringing to the program. “Give 110-percent all the time, and be able to work the best both on the court and in the classroom.”
