It took longer than expected but 2021 combo guard Damian Zivak finally added his first scholarship offer.
Arkansas-Little Rock have had their eye on Zivak for a while. The staff likely watched him throughout the season and was pleased with his progress.
“I just woke up one morning and I got a call from my AAU coach, and he told me the news,” Zivak explained. “I was really excited. It felt good to see my hard work pay off a little.”
Over the course of the year, Zivak has been improving a lot about his game that helped his game become attractive to a Division I program. He has the size to play at least two different positions on the floor and his versatility could be the catalyst to more offers.
“I can shoot it, drive it, facilitate and find the open man,” he said. “I can handle the ball and I can also post up since I’m a big guard. I like to think I’m an unselfish player.”
