The former Big Sky Newcomer of the Year is looking for a new home.

Bernie Andre, a 6-7 junior from North Miami Beach, Florida, finished the season averaging 11.2 points and 6.6 rebounds in 27 minutes of action, and is looking to showcase that skill on a bigger level.

“I just want a little more exposure,” Andre explained. “I’m just weighing my options going into my grad year.”

Arizona, Oregon State, Liberty, Portland, Cal Baptist, Northeastern, Charlotte, Montana, Cal Poly, Grand Canyon, Eastern Michigan, Towson, UT-Chattanooga, Pacific and Florida Gulf Coast have all reached out.

With the current state of affairs in the country, and with NCAA cancelling recruiting trips until mid-April, student-athletes such as Andre have to place a pause on their recruitment.

He doesn’t know when he’ll make a decision. He just knows that he will not rush one.

“It’s still kind of early to know when my timeline will be,” Andre said. “I do want to be able to visit some schools.”
