Rutgers adds 2020 center Cliff Omoruyi

Patience. It’s the word of the day for Rutgers fans all over the world.

The fan base has been waiting for a winner and with Steve Pikiell at the helm, the Scarlet Knights are back on the right track.

The New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year and ESPN four-star Cliff Omoruyi, long rumored to be heading to Tempe, has committed to Rutgers over Auburn and Arizona State.

Rutgers finally got their must-needed and highly anticipated recruiting win.

Omoruyi joins a Rutgers recruiting class that features Northwest Guilford (NC) power forward Cliff Omoruyi, Prolific Prep (CA) small forward Mawot Mag and Central Pointe Christian Academy (FL) small forward Oskar Palmquist.

Omoruyi is Rutgers highest ranked recruit since 2015 (Corey Sanders).
