After two seasons at Austin Peay, sophomore point guard Antwuan Butler is on the move.
Butler averaged 6.4 points, 3.3 assist, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game last season.
“My last two years of college, I needed it to be a better fit for my game,” he said. “This will be the two most important years of my basketball career so far. So, I thought I needed a change.”
Since Butler entered his name in the portal, Rider, Wagner, Southern Illinois, Towson, Holy Cross, St. Peter’s, Hofstra, Delaware, Drexel, Coppin State, Morgan State and UMass-Lowell have all reached out.
His decision will take time. As stated previously, this is a big decision for Butler that he is going to take seriously.
“I’m taking my time. I’m still in class right now doing homework online and a few more schools might reach out…it’s early,” Butler explained. “So, I want to make the best decision possible because I know this will be where I finish my collegiate career.”
