Arkansas-Pine Bluff freshman guard Jamil Wilson is one the move after one year with the program.
The Kentucky native averaged 2.4 points and 1.0 assist in just 11.2 minutes per game.
“A lot of things they told me while recruiting me was different when I got there,” Wilson said. “System wasn’t for my style of play and I guess me and coach stopped seeing eye to eye.”
Since entering his name in the portal, Kentucky Wesleyan and Cal State LA have reached out so far.
His decision will be a patient one. Expect more colleges to get involved.
“No idea as of right now,” he said of a decision. “I have to sit down with my family, and JUCO coach, and see.”
