ESPN four-star power forward JT Thor has been everything but predicatable.
Over the last year, Thor reclassified to 2020 and many rumors had him as strong leans to Auburn, Kansas and Oklahoma State at certain points in his recruitment.
But, when it came down to it, Auburn, Oklahoma State and UCLA made his shortlist and the Tigers were the call.
He joins ESPN five-star point guard Sharife Cooper of McEachern (GA), four-star point guard Justin Powell of North Oldham (KY) and three-star small forward Chris Moore of West Memphis (AR).
Thor is a versatile forward with the ability to play multiple positions on the floor.
Last summer, ScoopmanTV caught up with Thor at the NBPA Top 100 camp and this is what he had to say about his game.
“I can take guys on the perimeter,” he said. “I think I’m a great passer…I’m a very underrated passer and I can make the jump shot too off the dribble. So that’s where I’m most comfortable at.”
