When it’s all said and done, 2021 Westover (NC) guard D’Marco Dunn will have plenty options.
A few days ago, on April 24th, Dunn woke up with offers from Houston, South Florida, Appalachian State, Wichita State, North Carolina A&T, Vanderbilt, UC Riverside, East Carolina and VCU.
He fell asleep that night with two more scholarship offers from Xavier and Marquette.
Xavier, who started off the day offering him during the afternoon hours, is an appealing program for Dunn due to their, “really great staff and winning culture,” Dunn said.
For Marquette, it’s a lot of the same.
“The staff seems like really good people,” Dunn explained. “Some of my go boys there too, so that’s real cool.”
Along with his already long offer list is another list of programs showing interest. UTEP, Texas, Clemson, Wake Forest, BYU and New Mexico, among others are showing interest.
There’s a lot to like about the 6-foot-3 combo guard that can fill it up offensively and make plays on the defensive end of the floor as well.
“Lots of [coaches] say my skill set with my ability to shoot it well,” he said. “I score in different ways depending on what’s happening and of course my size and motor to be able to play at the next level.”
