Hillcrest wing Rollins adds another offer

Hillcrest (IL) wing Julius Rollins added his seventh offer yesterday when Oakland called and offered him a scholarship.

He now holds offers from Illinois-Chicago, Southeast Missouri State, Kent State, Milwaukee, Long Island, Oakland and Cleveland State.

“I haven’t really had much contact with the coaching staff until they offered me,” he said. “So, I’m looking forward to learning more about them and the organization.”

Loyola-Chicago, Toledo, Holy Cross, Youngstown State, Yale, Southern Illinois and more are showing interest.

“From what I’ve been told coaches like my versatility,” he said. “Being able to play and defend multiple positions, and also my energy on the court.”
