Miami Dade College (FL) 6-foot-7 wing Victor Hart got his second offer since hitting the JUCO ranks after Austin Peay reached out.
Austin Peay and Florida are currently his two scholarship offers with East Carolina, Florida International and Illinois-Chicago also showing interest.
“They like that I’m a three level scorer,” he said. “I can also handle the ball pretty well and I’m a great rebounder.”
With just one more year left in JUCO, Hart is expected to be among the top players and one of the more heavily recruited.
In his freshman season, Hart averaged 16.6 points and 9.3 rebounds, while shooting 49-percent from the field and 38-percent from three.
When it’s time to make a decision, he will be looking for a college that will allow him to continue playing at a high level.
“I would like to play for a staff who pushes their players to be the best they can be,” he said. “Like here at Miami Dade.”
