2023 West Linn (OR) point guard Jackson Shelstad received another scholarship offer yesterday.
This one coming from the staff at Bryant.
Bryant joins Cal Poly, Montana, Montana State, Portland State and Eastern Washington as the programs that have offered so far.
Rarely do you see basketball athletes with half a dozen scholarship offers before their sophomore year, and Shelstad isn’t taking the attention lightly.
He’s staying humble throughout it all and thankful for all the schools that have offered him thus far.
“It feels pretty good but it really just makes me want to work even harder to get more and even bigger schools,” he said. “But, I just gotta keep grinding and staying humble.”
Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, Washington, UCLA, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine and Stanford are also tracking his progress.
“They like my fast pace playing style,” he said. “The way I can shoot the ball and facilitate for my teammates.”
