Brimmer & May (MA) forward Gianni Thompson recently got a zoom call from the staff at Xavier and picked up an offer because of it.
Xavier adds to a list of programs following Thompson hard including, Georgia, Boston College, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Xavier, Temple and Richmond, among others.
“They have been following me for a while,” he said. “But, I am working on building a relationship with them currently.”
At 6-foot-7, Thompson is able to play both forward positions and stretch the floor. His length bodes well for him on both ends and that’s what most coaches say they like about his game.
“My versatility,” he said of what coaches like about him the most. “I can play pretty much anywhere on the floor and my ability to score.”
