On May 23rd, 2021 wing TJ Gadsden of St. Andrews Episcopal School (MD) decided to end his recruitment and commit to George Mason.
Head coach Dave Paulsen adds a versatile 6-foot-7 forward that can produce on both ends of the floor.
“I felt like they had the pieces and style of play that could best help me succeed and get better every day,” he said. “Plus, I wanted to go into a spot where I was wanted and could play right away.”
Central Florida and James Madison were also recruiting him hard before he decided to commit, but the fit within the offense was just too good to pass up.
“I think I’ll fit in perfectly,” Gadsden explained. “They run more actions rather than plays, which allows players to make more plays and read more, which would be great for me and my type of game.”
