One of the hidden gems in the class of 2021 is Camden Catholic (NJ) wing Zach Hicks.

Hicks has enjoyed recruiting success thus far, picking up five offers from the likes of Siena, Richmond, La Salle, Temple and Drexel.

And since the summer started, more programs have started to show interest and offers could start to fly soon.

His mother, Geanine Hudson, confirmed that Missouri, Iona, George Mason have, “invested the most time lately,” while UNC-Charlotte just reached out to show interest.

“They love that Zach is a diverse offensive player and will play defense,” his mother explained.

Missouri, one of the newer programs in his recruitment, has been on him hard as of late. Head coach Cuonzo Martin called the 6-foot-7 wing directly last week to get to know himself and his family, while assistant coach Marco Harris also reached out to him.

Richmond, Temple and Drexel have also been in contact with him virtually to discuss his game.

“Coaches message has been for Zach to constantly work on his body,” his mother said. “His strength, offensive game and mental toughness. They love what they see.”

Missouri is scheduling another time to get Hicks on zoom, while George Mason and Iona are trying to figure out their schedule in hopes they can connect with him as well.

Richmond, Temple, Drexel, La Salle, Missouri, Iona and George Mason are the programs recruiting him the hardest currently, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more offers fly his way soon.
