Four high major programs have already offered 2023 Lutheran (CO) forward Baye Fall, a rising 6-foot-11 student-athlete from Senegal.

Minnesota was the first high major program to offer, while Kansas, Georgetown and Georgia have all offered within the last 48-hours.

“I feel blessed,” Fall said. “I think that I deserve it. It’s just God’s help and my work paying off.”

TCU, Colorado, Arkansas, LSU, Arizona State and Texas are also paying attention, and could potentially offer soon.

According to his MaxPreps page, the freshman forward averaged 19 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game in his first year for a 21-4 program. His ability to protect the paint, and most importantly his athleticism has drawn admiration from coaches early on in the process.

“I think most coaches like my motor and athleticism,” Fall explained. “For some they say I’m skilled.”

In the next few years, I expect Fall to be a highly coveted prospect that should compete for a top-10 spot on any rankings. His long arms, athleticism and poise alone separates him from the majority of his peers, but it will be his work ethic that truly sets him apart.

“I’m working on everything that can help my game grow,” he said. “I’m mostly working on my shooting and ball handling right now.”
