2022 Christian Brothers College (MO) combo guard Larry Hughes II was a player to watch for ScoopmanTV during the Peach Jam last season, and he still emerges a prospect worth watching.
The 6-foot-4 guard has already earned an offer from Saint Louis, his fathers alma mater, and has more programs following him as well.
“It really let me know that I can make it far in the game if I keep working hard and staying humble,” he said.
North Carolina, North Carolina State and Iowa have also been recruiting him.
“They like that I have a great IQ and a great understanding of the game,” Hughes II explained. “And that I can shoot the ball on all levels, and play defense.”
Hughes II is one of the best players you don’t know much about and he’s working hard to change that.
“Mainly [working on] getting stronger, bigger and faster,” he said. “Working on my ball handling and sharpening up my basic skills.”
