Meet 2022 Drew Charter (GA) guard Ja’Kobe Strozier.
Strozier is a 6-foot-3 guard from Atlanta, Georgia, and he has an early offer from Kennesaw State and interest from Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Georgia State.
UT-Chattanooga is the latest program to reach out.
“[Coaches like] my ability to push the ball in the open floor,” Strozier explained. “And score in transition, and get my teammates involved.”
Strozier is a player that can play both guard spots in the backcourt, and more importantly, get buckets. He’s currently working on his, “ball handling and getting into my shots on the dribble,” he said, so he’s prepared for the moment when coaches are allowed to see prospects again.
