2023 Bellaire (TX) Jacolb Cole has been one of the hottest prospects in the recruiting world right now.

The 6-foot-6 wing has seen Ole Miss, LSU and TCU offer him a scholarship this month with Texas Tech being the latest program to show interest.

“It makes me feel great and determined to do better,” Cole said. “Because I know that I can raise myself to another level.”

The lefty has an incredible wingspan and good feel for the game at his age. He rebounds well, shoots the three at a nice clip and can get to the rim off the dribble. All of the coaches have been enamored with that versatility on offense and have offered as a result.

“They say that I’m versatile,” he said. “And can get to my spots when I want.

Only a freshman heading into his sophomore season, Cole has a lot of things he wants to work on. While his game has garnered a lot of early buzz from high major coaches, Cole has been adamant about improving his game by working on his overall athleticism and gaining even more opportunities for himself down the road.

Coaches should definitely know that, “I look to lead my team in every scenario,” he said.
