2022 point guard Kanye Clary of Princess Anne (VA) recently added an offer from Old Dominion and has a plethora of other programs following him.
“I’ve been talking to the assistant coaches for some time now,” Clary explained. “I’ve just started talking with the head coach weekly.”
Hampton and Norfolk State have also offered Clary, with VCU, Radford, James Madison, Temple, UNC Asheville and North Carolina Central also recruiting him.
“Coaches like how aggressive I am,” he said. “The way I get downhill and how I manage the game.”
With more schools coming in, the last thing on Clary’s mind is making a decision or narrowing down his list. He’s going to, “keep weighing my options and keep gaining more interest,” while also doing enough research to help him find that perfect school when that time does come to decide.
“I want a college that’s going to push me academically, as well as, sports wise,” he said. “And a college that will allow me to play my game.”
