One of the best young talents on the West Coast picked up a huge Pac 12 basketball offer recently.
Cajon (CA) point guard Shyheim Parm added an offer from Arizona, his second overall offer. North Arizona is the other program to have offered so far.
“We have just started building a relationship,” Parm explained. “I respect coach [Sean] Miller a lot and plan on building a great relationship with the staff at Arizona.”
Idaho State, Pepperdine, San Diego, San Diego State, Cal Baptist, Cal Poly and Rice are all showing interest in the 6-foot guard that can impact on both sides of the floor.
“I feel like coaches like how I’m a two way player,” he said. “That I can make plays for myself and others.”
During the pandemic, Parm is just working. He’s been focusing on just about every part of his game, but his dribble moves and shot has been a major focus moving forward.
“I have been working on getting more dribble moves in my game,” he said. “Also, been mainly working on making my three point shot more consistent.”
After the pandemic, he plans to start taking visits.
“I plan on being able to go on unofficials to Arizona and NAU once permitted to,” he said.
