2023 Phelps School (PA) forward Isaiah Miranda will be heading into his second year of high school basketball with two scholarship offers, and maybe more, once the season starts.
Siena had already offered the 6-foot-11 forward, who plays his AAU ball with Rhode Island Elite, and Bryant joined recently after reaching out to his coach.
UConn, Stanford, Providence, Virginia Tech, Rutgers and East Carolina have reached out to show interest as well.
“Coaches like how I’m mobile and athletic for my size,” he said. “My ability to shoot it from three, and block and alter shots at the rim.”
Miranda has a 7-foot-2 wingspan, according to his coach, and the last thing he needs to work on is strength, and that’s what he’s currently doing to continue attracting coaches.
