Travis Steele continues his recruiting prowess on the transfer market with another high impact player headed to Xavier after entering the portal.
Belmont transfer Adam Kunkel announced through his Instagram account that he will be attending Xavier.
He’s the third transfer to commit to Xavier joining Gardner Webb transfer Nate Johnson and Division II transfer Brian Griffin.
Kunkel averaged 16.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assist per game, while making 39 percent of his 213 three point attempts.
He’s the first sophomore since Taylor Barnette in 2014-15 to nail 80+ three point shots in a season.
