A lot of high level coaches are paying attention to 2021 Carolina Basketball (NC) guard Elijah Wilson.
The 6-foot-6 guard recently added an offer from Towson, while East Carolina, VCU, Elon, East Tennessee State, North Carolina Central, Wichita State, Arkansas and College of Charleston are also recruiting him.
“Coaches like my ability to make shots off the dribble and in catch-and-shoot situations,” Wilson explained. “My motor, my defense, and also being a three level scorer.”
Wilson checks a lot of boxes for college coaches. He has the size and skills to be a high level player on the Division I level, but he’s still improving, and trying to get even more opportunities in the future.
“Definitely [improving] my mentality, consistency and strength,” he said. “But also being able to be okay with making mistakes and just turn them into positives.”
After watching some film and seeing Wilson on the circuit this summer, coaches are really starting to amp up their interest. East Carolina and VCU set up calls to speak to Wilson today, while many more are reaching out to gauge interest.
