Webb School of Knoxville (TN) point guard Luke Lentz received a call from Hofstra head coach Joe Mihalich that resulted in a scholarship offer.
Lentz, an incoming junior, was, “very excited to get that offer,” he said, and Hofstra gets in on one of the better shooters in his class.
“Shooting and facilitating the ball well are what I do the best,” Lentz explained. “However, I play scrappy and play hard.”
Right now, Hofstra is the only program that has offered but that could change as Lentz continues to improve his skill set. The next step in his maturation process is, “getting quicker and stronger,” he said.
