2022 Mount St. Michael (NY) point guard Noah Best is one of the most underrated point guard in his class.
He recently received an offer from Bryant and has offers from Robert Morris, Manhattan and Stony Brook. He also has interest from Quinnipiac, Air Force, Princeton and Rutgers.
His recruitment is really starting to pick up and he’s just thankful to all the coaches recruiting him.
“It’s a blessing really,” Best explained. “I just really want to improve and pick up more offers to reach the next level, and most importantly, to make my family proud.”
At 6-foot-5, Best can play and defend both positions in the backcourt. It’s something that appeals to coaches at the next level and it’s why more programs are getting involved.
“Coaches like that I’m a tall guard,” he said. “And can get to my spot and shoot over people.”
The biggest thing he’s working on right now is his handle because he said, “I don’t want small guards stealing the ball from me.” That will also help him get to his spots easier and break down defenses at the next level.
In the future, Best plans on taking visits once the NCAA lifts the bans for on-campus recruiting.
“I plan on visiting all the schools that are interested in me,” he said. “But as of right now, I’m going to wait until the virus dies down so it can be safe.”
