Penn State added Elijah Hutchins-Everett, a four-star rated forward from Putnam Science Academy (CT).

Hutchins-Everett is the highest ranked player to commit to Penn State head coach Pat Chambers since 2016 (Lamar Stevens and Tony Carr).

He joins Penn State’s 2021 recruiting class that features guard Houston Mallette of Pacifica Christian (CA) and forward TaQuan Woodley of Camden (NJ).

During the 2019 EYBL season, his last on the circuit, Hutchins-Everett finished with five double-doubles, with a season-high of 15 rebounds. He was one of four players to have a game of 15 or more rebounds on the Nike circuit in the class of 2021, joining Paolo Banchero, Moussa Cisse and Adama Sanogo.
