Adante’ Holiman sees more programs getting involved

2022 McAlester (OK) point guard Adante’ Holiman is currently a four-star rated prospect by ESPN and already has early offers from Akron and UMKC.

Seattle, Utah State, Denver, Campbell, SMU, Colorado State, Sam Houston State, TCU, NC Central, Wyoming, Oral Roberts, UNLV, Western Illinois, UTSA, Tulsa, Creighton and Dartmouth are also recruiting him due to his ability to lead and impact the pace of the game.

“All of them tell me that they love the way I read the pick-and-roll and the pace of my game,” he said. “And unlike a lot of guards, I can shoot the ball at a high clip, and they love that. I can run a team and be a leader on any team you put me on.”

Akron has upped their pursuit of the Oklahoma guard as of late with a recent offer and they’ve also been on Zoom with Holiman recently as well. Seattle and Utah State are the newest programs to get involved, while more are still coming.

All the new interest has continued to push him into the gym more frequently to work on his game to continue to add more opportunities for himself in the future.

“The parts I need to work on is getting better at the physical part of the game,” Holiman explained. “Like getting stronger and getting more athletic since I’m a smaller guard, and keep just touching up on the basics so everything can just get even more consistent and stay that way.”
