2022 Trinity (NC) wing Noah Ross‘ recruitment is trending in the right direction and coaches at Elon recently decided they wanted to move forward with a scholarship offer.
Eastern Kentucky, Hofstra and Florida International have also offered Ross with programs such as Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, LSU, Liberty, Holy Cross, Appalachian State, Air Force, Belmont, Davidson, Middle Tennessee State, UNC-Wilmington, Houston, Tulsa, East Tennessee State, Ohio, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Charlotte, Rice, Lehigh, Winthrop and Cal State Fullerton also recruiting him.
“Coaches like my ability to shoot the ball and stretch the floor with my length,” he said. “Also, my defensive capabilities.”
Ross has good size for a guard that can also play on the wing at 6-foot-6, so right now his focus is on honing his skills, while also preparing his body for the next level.
“Mainly just focusing on getting stronger and getting my body right,” he said. “Always making sure my shot and ball handling stays sharp.”
That has lead to many different programs reaching out in the recent weeks leading up to our conversation. Rice head Scott Pera recently called Ross, and should be getting on a Zoom with him in the near future. Tulsa, Appalachian State, Charlotte, UNC-Greensboro, Virginia Tech, Ohio and Liberty have also made strong pushes at Ross as of late, along with the schools that have already offered.
