Division I programs have been a fan of Parkview (AR) forward Cam Wallace as of late, with Oral Roberts being the latest program to offer him a scholarship.
“I’ve actually talked to [HC Paul Mills] about a month ago,” he said. “He was saying they were showing interest but he said he wanted to see more. I showed him more and they offered me.”
He also has Division I offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Alcorn State. Tulsa, St. John’s, Arkansas State, Central Arkansas and Arkansas-Little Rock are also the Division I programs showing interest.
“Coaches like that my motor is always running,” he said. “And they love my athletic ability.”
Right now, Wallace is putting special emphasis on, “improving my jump shot and ball handling,” he told me. That should help him get more interest down the road, as many other programs continue to reach out.
Central Arkansas, Arkansas Tech, Henderson State and Arkansas State are the latest to contact him.
