2022 Northwood Temple (NC) point guard Jaquantae Harris is headed into his junior season looking to put everyone on notice.
The 6-foot-1 guard has already received seven scholarship offers with the latest coming from the staff at Tulsa.
“My relationship with the staff at Tulsa is really good,” Harris said. “I like the way they check up on me almost everyday asking me how me and my family doing, and just telling me more and more about the school every time we talk.”
But Tulsa isn’t the only program hanging around. LSU, Wichita State, East Carolina, Florida International, Hofstra and Iona have already offered as well.
Wake Forest, Seton Hall, Eastern Kentucky, Houston, Xavier, Winthrop, Elon, Appalachian State, Middle Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Clemson and UNC-Wilmington are also showing interest in the guard that can do it on both ends of the floor.
“Coaches like how I play on defense,” Harris explained. “My explosiveness, the way I get my teammates involved, and they also like the way I handle and get down hill.”
Don’t expect a quick decision. Harris will take his time with his recruitment and is still open to hearing from more programs.
